I’ve been fascinated by the ancient world for as long as I can remember. As a child, I absolutely loved diving into school projects on the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans, and I was always the first one eager for field trips to museums. Honestly, that hasn't changed a bit! Today, I still find the exact same joy in exploring a museum or uncovering a piece of forgotten history.
Over the years, that childhood curiosity evolved into a much deeper spiritual and historical exploration. Since my early teens, I’ve spent twenty-eight years researching and practicing witchcraft and paganism, wandering through various paths—from Wicca and Druidry to Hellenic Reconstructionism—before truly finding my own footing.
I studied Journalism at university, which grounded my love for writing and research. For a long time, my writing found its home in smaller pieces for various anthologies. A major turning point for me was the release of the Oracle of the Hekatean Path, (Lo Scarabeo, 2024) which was my very first mainstream publication.
Now, I am incredibly thrilled to be working on my forthcoming title from Llewellyn. Walking the Hekatean Path: Devotion and Witchcraft from Crossroad to Crossroad will be my first stand-alone book, fully dedicated to sharing my knowledge, research, and personal experience with the liminal goddess Hekate.
But I also believe in being authentic about the journey, and life isn't always just the highlight reel. I want this space to be honest, so I’m open about my struggles with mental health, navigating life with late-diagnosed AuDHD, and managing the ongoing reality of post-COVID complications. These experiences profoundly shape how I work, how I interact with the world, and how I create. Some days are certainly harder than others, but it has all taught me to find resilience and magic in unexpected places.
Recently, I’ve also found a brand new creative outlet that has taken off rapidly. I started experimenting with digital art and painting on my tablet. It has been such a rewarding process of discovery, and I’m currently pouring all of that new energy into illustrating a complete 78-card tarot deck.
When I’m not writing, lost in historical texts, or working on my digital art, you can usually find me at my desk here in Coventry. I’ll likely have a good cup of coffee in hand, kept company by my three cats—Merlin, Luna, and Orion. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy exploring my work.
