ORACLE OF THE HEKATEAN PATH (Lo Scarabeo, 2024)
ORACLE OF THE HEKATEAN PATH (Lo Scarabeo, 2024)
Oracle of the Hekatean Path was based on a divination system I personally developed in my devotion to Hekate. I teamed up with artist and deck creator Chris Butler to bring this deck to life with his signature style of digital art.
Spread across 60 cards, the deck features some of Hekate's ancient epithets, her symbols and other deities and spirits closely linked with her.
The deck was published by Lo Scarabeo in 2024.
TAROT OF THE HEKATEAN PATH (work in progress)
TAROT OF THE HEKATEAN PATH (work in progress)
Exploring the divinatory depths of Tarot through the lense of Hekatean devotion, this ongoing project is designed to be both a stand-alone deck as well as a companion to the Oracle.
Based in the style and meanings of Rider-Waite-Smith decks, my uniquely adapted imagery is based on historical evidence and mythology, that re-imagines the Major Arcana and "Fool's Journey" as an exploration of Hekate's manifestations.
The Minor Arcana, with its traditional elemental associations, explores the lived reality of devotees. Each Suit maps as a journey towards the elemental Temples overseen by the Court cards.
